One thing that stands out in the previous BMWs and the E90 especially is how the car rotates around your hip. I just hope BMW can do something magical with the LCI. Not to say that I don't like the F30, I do and I'm looking into it right now. I bought my E90 fully loaded for $45K out the door at that time and it has an Inline-6, LEDs and a much sportier drive. I love BMWs but sometimes can't justify what they are charging these days. Personally I feel the F30 3 series is no where close to a "sporty" ride the E90 had. Wouldn't take too many tweaks like these for me to feel like I'm getting my money's worth again, whereas right now I just can't quite stomach them. Would have to test drive another, but as of right now I couldn't buy that car without the H-K upgrade, which is yet another option box to have to check when I was perfectly happy with my base suspension, base steering, base stereo, base "line" E93. In fact it was so bad I almost have to think it was broken maybe, or a speaker wasn't working. I also thought that the base stereo on the F33 M-Sport that I had for a week was completely awful. Prices only go in one direction, yes, but the LCI could potentially save me from having to check a bunch of them today that I might not have to tomorrow. I really don't like having to check the DHP option box either, just for a Bimmer that drives like a Bimmer and not a Camry! No reason why they couldn't quietly "fix" that. LCI E90 had suspension updates that made them much more compliant with run-flat tires, for example. I'm hoping for subtle changes beneath the skin as well.
